Painted Paper Collages

I use mixed media including acrylic, watercolor, ink and markers on collaged paper because this process facilitates creativity and exploration. My collages are improvisations in which memorable experiences - literature, art, music, travels, people and ideas - are fused together. Sometimes an interesting juxtaposition of shapes, textures, images or symbols gives an impulse to a new artwork.
